Limited tree and shrub warranty
Hanna’s Garden Shop will give store credit to retail customers for the full purchase price of trees and shrubs which die within sixty days of purchase. Original Hanna’s receipt and dead plant or plants must be provided to the nursery to receive any credit. Ornamental plants are perishable items. Responsibility for the care of plants becomes the buyer’s responsibility at the time of purchase. Credit will not be given in cases of neglect or improper care. Examples of neglect and improper care include but are not limited to: Not watering plants until they are established, improper planting techniques (such as setting plants too deeply in the soil), providing insufficient irrigation during times lacking adequate rainfall, mechanical injury from mowing devices or damage caused by use of chemicals. Purchases of trees and shrubs sold on promotion of 25% or more are final. No warranty is expressed or implied on said promotional items. Plants, which are purchased and left in original containers or potted into other planters or containers, will not be covered by warranty. Requests for any credit of $250.00 or more should be pre-arranged with the management before making return to the nursery. No other warranties expressed or implied are provided for plants sold by Hanna’s Garden Shop.
